King Luminaire is a leading manufacturer of quality ornamental outdoor light fixtures, poles and other associated products. We specialize in providing superior photometric performance together with easy maintenance features. With our original roots in the traditional/historic street lighting market, we are steadily expanding into the more contemporary decorative lighting market.

With locations in Jefferson, Ohio, Northport, Alabama and Burlington, Ontario, King Luminaire is part of the StressCrete group of companies.

StressCrete itself was founded in 1953 as a manufacturer of concrete utility poles, gradually moving into other market areas as we grew. By 1970 we were capable of manufacturing a 110′ sports lighting pole and ten years later were heavily involved with decorative and ornamental lighting poles. This led to the acquisition of King Luminaire in 1985, which in turn intensified our product development into the specification side of the street and area lighting market.

With growth came the need to expand and StressCrete’s state of the art Alabama plant started production in October 1995. Today we have one of the widest product offerings in our industry, ranging from bollards and ornamental poles in concrete, aluminum, steel and ductile iron through street lighting, power distribution and sports lighting poles together with a range of high performance historic and contemporary decorative luminaires, arms and brackets.
