Veteran builder/contractor Gary D. Yurich founded BEST LIGHTS, Inc. in 1994 to commercialize a patented reflective light fixture he designed. This unique fixture collects all the lumens produced by the lamp and reflects them for maximum efficiency.

Gary D. Yurich entered the construction business in 1977 with the formation of Yurich Construction Company in Royal Oak, Michigan. Three years later he organized Commercial Insulation Service. In 1993, Yurich Construction Company and Commercial Insulation Service were merged to form Commercial Building & Retrofit of Troy, Michigan, a sister company to BEST LIGHTS, Inc.
